These tools operate using a small hydraulic piston cycling back and forth. This in-turn rotates a hex ratchet, similar to using a ratchet spanner. The pump is configured to provide variable pressures. This is how the torque output is adjusted. Each tool has its own calibrated chart showing pressure verses Torque. Torque is achieved, when the tool stalls. Accuracy is +/- 3%

The cassette wrenches have equal power in forward and reverse. Every tool has a reaction pawl that retains the tool, and allows a safer hands free operation. The Hydraulic swivel can be rotated 360 degrees to ensure the hoses can be moved clear. 2 or 4 Tools can be used together on flanges to reduce distortion. They can also be cycled together to provide unified rotation, or angle, to ensure each nut is rotated equally.
